Ingredients (4 scones)
- 1 3/4 cups plus 1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon raisins
- 1 tablespoon plus 1 1/2 teaspoons honey
- 1 cup plus 2 teaspoons heavy cream
- 3/4 teaspoon brandy
- Extra heavy cream for brushing the tops
Instructions
- Add all ingredients in the bowl in order listed
- Mix all ingredients till well incorporated
- Ball the dough and shape into a circle
- Cut into 4 even pieces
- Brush tops with heavy cream
- Bake at 330 degrees for 30 minutes or when golden brown on top and bottom
